Ive sold 5 things on posh. All of my ratings (I have close to 300) have been 5 star except for 2. (What company wouldnt want to keep their site free of these types?!) There are good Sellers but the experience of the bad Sellers is something that really tarnishes Poshmarks reputation. I have seen people record packaging and shipping an item (which is sad that something that extreme is needed for seller protection) Youre right people are crazy! I try not to get upset about stuff like that but sometimes I do bc in all my listing I clearly State no low-ball offers will be acknowledged so when they do it they deserve to get blocked!! If you ready peoples complaints on ebay (buyers never paying, sellers canceling, fake items, etc) or any other place I feel like they are all basically the same. I recently found a couple of buyers that made me rush to send their packages, only to give me a 2 star rating because the item , in their opinion, wasnt as described. Well the women purchased this brand new dress from me an I mailed it out on the same day as she wanted it for a weekend party .. so I went above an beyond an she received it an on the 3rd day she opens a case against me claiming that the sizing wasnt right an it couldnt of been a size Large 12-14 , an wanted her money back ! I have about 200 items on poshmark and get one or two sales here and there. Everyday Im getting tons of followers, likes, and shares a day but nobody buys. I get some of your issues. the bundles of bundles we post (baby lots of 22 pieces plus) I state as firm including Bc I have to pay extra shipping they bundle 3 of those huge lots and ask less than half listed bundles price. I was honest in my review and stated that the dress was beautiful, but that the description was lacking details that were important to a buyer and I explained in detail what I saw upon receiving the dress. I try to gather up really large bags of things in great condition so its not a waste of my time taking the subway and waiting in line (pre-pandemic, now you have to make an appointment or drop off and come back later). For things I really care about and are easy enough to list, then I will use eBay because the 10% commission they charge is reasonable compared to every other platform and its been around the longest so I feel comfortable using it. They were orgininally in a bundle but one of the shorts in that bundle got bought by another seller so in the description I made sure to explain that those shorts were sold and reflected it in the price ($10 for each).
